If your tablet monitor fails to operate correctly, consult the following table for possible solution before calling for repair.
 
1How do I update my software to the newest driver?
Please visit Pnboo official website(www.pnboo.com) to download the current updated driver version.
 

2)How do I install the driver?
(1). Please uninstall and completely remove any driver you have for other graphics tablet on your computer.
(2). Disable any anti-virus protection program such as Firewall.
   (Windows)Make sure that you are installing the driver as the Administrator.
(3). Connect the tablet to computer.
(4). Insert the disk into your CD drive and follow the on screen instructions to install driver.
(5). Restart the computer.
 
3) How will I know if the driver is completely installed?
When the driver is completely installed you will see an icon ” appearing on the system tray (lower right corner).  Once completed, the digital pen should be in control of the cursor, and activated for configuration on the pressure test area.
If you have uninstalled previous driver but your current (Pnboo) driver is still not working properly, that means you have not completely removed your previous driver from your computer.
 
Follow the below steps to locate “hidden” files.
 
Windows
(1). Check that no file remains on Programme File.
(2). Go to Device Manager and click “Show Hidden Devices” and remove other tablets and all non-used/unused devices (including unused mouse, printer etc) you have on your computer.
(3). After you have uninstalled the driver and rebooted, remove the following files: tablet.dat and pen_tablet.dat from all over the hard disk (search as administrator) and search in SYSTEM32 (and on XP64 in SYSWOW64) for files like wintab.
(4). Restart computer.
 
Mac
(1). Go to library folder -Application Support and delete folder(s) associated to the developer of the driver.
(2). Go to System Library Folder and delete folder(s) associated to the developer of the driver.
(3). After you have uninstalled the driver and rebooted, remove the following files: Search for all files named previous tablet.
(4). Restart computer.
 
4)How to uninstall the driver?
Windows

(1) Run “Start” -----“All Program”-----“Pnboo---- “Uninstall”
Follow the unload tips until unloading is finished.
(2) Run “Control panel”-----“Uninstall a program”-----find “Pen tablet”or “PNBOO or“Driver V8.0”---- choose “Uninstall/Change” .
Follow the unload tips until unloading is finished.
 
Mac
(1) OpenFinder-----Application-----Pen tablet Setting-----Uninstall PenTablet Driver.
If the first method do not uninstall the driver completely, please
(2)Open“Finder-----Application-----Pen tablet Setting please delete the file directly.
 
 
5)How to switch between the Pen mode and Eraser mode?
Open the pen tablet setting-button windows.
(1). Choose the button 1 or 2.
(2). Set the default to the pen/eraser toggle.
(3). Click Apply and OK buttons to exit.
When the digital pen is in working mode, press the barrel button to switch from pen/eraser mode. The screen will indicate current pen/eraser mode. You may assign the barrel button to a different action in the Pen Tablet button settings.
 
6My tablets can not use the pen pressure
(1). Make sure the tablet icon   is in the task bar, if not, it means you havent installed the driver, please install the driver and then reboot system to test again. 
(2). If you can see the tablet icon in the task bar, please open it and go to the “Pressure” windows to test the Pen pressure. If the test is right, it means you had installed the driver correctly.
(3). Make sure the application that you are using supports pen pressure. Not all of the applications support pen pressure function.
(4). Have your computer ever installed another tablet driver in it before? If yes, please remove both old and new drivers and reboot. When the system returns to the desktop, please install the driver again.
(5).  After rebooting, please go to the Pen Tablet Setting window to test the pen pressure, if it can be used correctly, close the window, and then open the drawing application to test if the pressure can be normally used.
 
7My notebook has no VGA, DVI or HDMI ports, can I only plug the USB to use the Monitor Display?
The USB cable is only for drawing-data, not for display data transmission, so you must connect both USB cable and one of the VGA, DVI or HDMI cable.
If your computer or notebook has no VGA, DVI or HDMI ports, you can buy a USB to VGA or HDMI trans adapter for using.
 
8My Pen Display shows no signal (The power light appears red.)
(1). Make sure one of VGA, DVI or HDMI cable has connected to both the pen display and computer, and be connected tightly.
(2). Try to test pen display with another computer.
(3). If you use USB to D-sub, DVI or HDMI trans adapter, please make sure it is in good condition before using.
 
9How to set to extend mode/mirror mode?
Set to the second monitor.
(1). Please go to the display setting in the system control panel.
(2). If you want to set to mirror mode, both of the monitors must be set the same DPI.
(3). If you want to set to extend mode, you can set the tablet to the monitor 1 or 2. 
(4). When display set finished, please open the Pen Tablet Setting and go to the Monitor Setting window. Select monitor 1 or 2 depending on your setting of 1 or 2 before.
